Editorial/Social Media Intern
Location: Colorado
BeThree is looking for a savvy self-starter to join our team and come play with us! Do you surf the net all day long, searching for the latest, coolest (and sometimes lamest) health news? Are you on top of blog content faster than your RSS feed? Can you name the owner of Gawker Media? Is WIRED your favorite magazine? Do you live the body, mind, soul lifestyle? If so, we want YOU!
BeThree is all about presenting our subscribers with a daily email that’s uniquely relevant, hip and stylish on topics like healthy lifestyle and trends, nutrition and recipes, fitness, life-coaching and travel. If you’re passionate about new media, healthy living and the opportunity to work for an awesome female-run start-up in a techy entrepreneurial setting, take a look at how you’d be spending your days with us:
1. Viral Marketing
2. Blog monitoring
3. Editorial research
4. Product scouting and PR contact database upkeep
5. Special projects, as needed
Here’s What We’d Need From You:
- Minimum commitment of 10-15 hours per week
- Excellent research, writing and communications skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Independent work style requiring minimal supervision
- Proficiency in computers with working knowledge of Microsoft Word as well as internet research
- Internet and computer access
- Interest and knowledge of health issues and socially responsible business is a plus
